Soon after emigrating to Canada in 1976, Singapore-born architect Wei Yew Lee founded the design firm Studio 3 Graphics with two other partners. In 1982, the trio started what became an annual tradition of designing their business cards to mark the Lunar New Year. Each year's design takes reference from the Chinese zodiac animal sign to produce a witty and eye-catching card.
For the year of the Ox in 2009, the card makes a witty connection to the popular use of "XOXO" to represent hugs and kisses.
