The school crest is made of up various symbols representing economic sectors, such as manufacturing and shipping, in a wheel that signifies progress and industry. It was created for this secondary school established in 1965, the 63rd new school to be opened by the government.
The school was closed in 1992 to form part of the Kim Seng Campus for Temasek Polytechnic.
